IN THE ROOM with Fusion-DS

This week IN THE ROOM, Brady Hicks is proud to welcome one of the top independent tag teams in the world today, in Fusion-DS. Check out all that the 3X East Coast Wrestling Association Tag Team Champions, 2012 WXW Samoa Cup Tournament winners, ECWA K-Cup competitors, and 5X Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 10-listed teams have to say about the art of tag team wrestling, chasing their singles dreams, getting the praise of a WWE legend, and banishing their ECWA rivals, The Midnight Sensations, plus their thoughts on the upcoming ECWA show, June 2 in Newark, Delaware. Plus, Brady, Derrick McDonald, and Anthony Sarlo take a look at Paul Heyman and Lord Tensai in WWE, and spend a good deal of time debating the legitimacy of the Montreal Screwjob, once again. In addition … Brady forgot to mention his major TNA-related news on the show, so here goes: THE Brady Hicks will here-forward be participating in TNA’s pay per view press conferences, starting with Wednesday, May 9, for TNA Sacrifice. Lots of great reasons to be excited! Thanks, as always, for the support!

Screwjob, work, yes. I agree with Brady for once, if you ever need some ammo in your corner Hicks give me a shout I’ve got an arsenal. Guys it was a work, an old school work, only Vince, Bret and maybe Brisco knew. Shawn and Hunter, not in on it to this day. Vince and Bret go to there graves with it, why, it’s still makin money and old school kayfabe dictates it.

There seems to be this perception among the internet wrestling fans they’re above being kayfabed, heads up guys, the true wrestlers were kayfabe to their wives and children, littlelone some net marks like us. Hulk’s always kayfabe and he’s the greatest wrestler that’s ever lived.

Why don’t they just tell us the truth, it’s 14 years later, I hear you scream. Because we pay wrestlers alot of money NOT to tell us the truth, to entertain us and to make us all believe in dreams.

    • There are so many reasons I think the whole thing was a work. I’m sure this debate isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

I know I havn’t said much on here in a while but I’m still prepared to play devils advocate when it comes to the screw job because for evey argument that it is work there are just as many holes in the theory and plausible explanations for why it could have been at least somewhat legit. I’m still on the fence about it though.
