Thanks to all of you who have sent such kind remarks over the last two weeks regarding my dad’s passing. While there is nothing that can compare with the loss of a parent, your kind thoughts have made it a bit easier.
As you’ll imagine, given that my dad had colon cancer and my mom is a breast cancer survivor; I’ll do what I can from time to time to publicize independent and other events benefitting cancer research and treatment. One of them will lbe taking place in April in North Jersey; as Independent Wrestling Federation will bring the band back together for a live event on April 28 in Nutley, NJ with proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
The star-studded event happens Saturday, April 28, 2012 with a 7:45 pm bell-time at the Parks & Recreation Building, 44 Park Avenue, Nutley, NJ.
Their release is as follows:

We saw the results of not having the ECW Arena this past Saturday, as Combat Zone Wrestling debuted at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voornees, NJ last night in the promotion’s return to New Jersey and its first show in the post-ECW Arena era.
So of course, there were a handful of remarks complaining about what was written last week, but far more that were supportive.
