I can always smell what the Rock is cooking.  I mean is he or is he not the Great One?  Great look, great wrestler, and boy oh boy is he great on the mic.  Yes I am marking out fully, but honestly when the Rock is on Raw I remember why I like wrestling.

I got Goosebumps just watching his Titantron promo last night on Raw.  I honestly feel there is nobody in the two major wrestling companies today that brings it like the Rock.  I mean we have Cena, HHH, Hogan, Flair, and at the top of my list Punk…but nobody not even Punk handles the “Pipe Bomb” like Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson. continue reading…

Last Man Standing Match for WWE Title: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. John Cena
Um- who cares unless further details of the HHH conspiracy are offered.  If the conspiracy does trickle down into the WWE Title Match,  I see Del Rio retaining do to outside interference…If not I see Cena as champ to bring more attention to his tag match with the Rock at Survivor Series

WWE World Title Match: Mark Henry (c) vs. Big Show
Please let Henry retain… I am really liking this guy and I am actually believing his Worlds Strongest Man persona (an accolade he did obtain in 1995).  Oh- and we really don’t need an over weight Big Show who looks ridiculous in his new  merchandise as a champ…Even as his peak Show was not an entertaining champ and his peak was in WCW.  I do hope Big Show is inducted into the Hall Of Pain!

-Randy Orton vs.Cody Rhodes
Orton will win but should not…Cody Rhodes is hot right now, and boy do I like him bringing back the old IC belt-for the first time in a long time the IC title means something-Since it is not on the line this Sunday, this match is going to Orton.  Ted Dibiase must be steaming- a couple of years ago I would put my money on him facing Orton on a PPV

WWE Divas Title Match:  Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Eve Torres

I don’t care but Beth needs to win…until Kharma returns I have no need for the Diva’s division-at least Lay Cool was entertaining…now I only see Diva’s division on triple fast forward on my DVR

-CM Punk and Triple H vs. The Miz and R-Truth                                                                                                                         This is really the headline match PPV and the one where we should get some answers…I see truth and Miz taking the W.  This will make Survivor Series more interesting if there is a strong heal faction forming

WWE Tag Team Title Match: Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne (c’s) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger

Kofi and Bourne retain…my crystal ball see Dolph losing both matches at Vengeance…Also- can we get some real tag teams, if I am really going to believe the tag division is being revitalized…I’m talking matching trunks, a real tag team name, and not two guys you know will not be together in a couple months.  I do think a Vicki Guerrero stable would be cool, I just don’t think Vengeance will be the best night for WWE’s cougar

U.S. Title Match: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Zack Ryder

Ryder Wins, Ryder Wins, Ryder Wins…You Know It

-Sheamus vs. Christian

Sheamus Wins and nobody cares

WWE does not just say things to say things…WWE does not just film things to film things…WWE is very precise in regards to what they show and tell the audience.  If Ric Flair is not in the WWE you will not see any cameraman focus on a “Wooooooooooo” sign in the audience.  If Kurt Angle is in TNA then his name will not be mentioned when the all American American Jack Swagger slaps on the ankle lock.  These points might seem obvious, but once in a while one can get some hints to a new WWE direction by paying close attention to what is said and shown at a WWE arena. For example-Almost a decade ago I started to see WWE camera men start focusing in on nWo signs in the crowd-this was not by accident.  I had a feeling WWE was going to bring in the nWo.  After a couple months of subtle almost subliminal nWo hints WWE brought in the nWo (Hogan, Hall, and Nash) at the 2002 No Way Out PPV.  WWE shows and tells you things for a reason.  There is always going to be a “Cena Sux” sign in the audience, but WWE only shows you it if it helps the direction of the storyline at that time.  This theory brings us to today.  Has anyone else noticed the mention of Hulk Hogan’s name over the last couple of months in WWE?  WWE wrestlers do not just say the name of the biggest star in TNA (their competition) for no reason.  I promise you will not hear Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, AJ Styles, or Mr. Anderson (Kennedy) come out of CM Punks mouth during one of his promos any time soon.  WWE is slowing feeding us the name “Hulk Hogan”…Cena, HHH, and Punk have all mentioned his name over the last couple of months.  This brings me to why?  Well I guess only time will tell.  Hogans TNA contract is about to expire next month-this leaves the door open for a WWE return-I mean who better to be the special guest referee when the Rock faces Cena at WrestleMania?

My Guess-

a la Undertaker vs Undertaker (Mark Calaway vs Brian Lee) WWE is going to have two masked superstars with the same gimmick facing each other.  Místico (the original sin Cara-Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde) has still not received his future endeavors, yet Hunico (Jorge Arias) is still wrestling under the Sin Cara mask.  After Sin Cara made a heel move at the end his match against Daniel Bryan I began to think that we might be in store for a good vs bad double dose of Sin Cara feud.  After last Friday’s SmackDown my prediction had more fuel added to the fire when Hunico said he was the “Real Sin Cara”.  This opened the door for him to be proven wrong.  So will we see two masked Luchadores under the same name?  Will we see a mask vs mask match at Survivor Series? Maybe even a “Bella twins” move where both become a tag team and do a few switch-a-rooneys while the ref is looking away?  Time will tell, but mark my word- unless Místico is still injecting non wellness policy substances we will see 2 Sin Cara’s in the Squared circle.

What if Raw goes off the air with Randy Orton giving CM Punk an RKO?

Thoughts, Comments??

I think it would be amazing.  Who would the fans cheer for?  They could fight for the World Title and headline PPVs.  I do like the Nash storyline…but come on-Orton/Punk would be red hot.  The next week, Orton’s music hits to open Raw- he gets on the mic and tells the WWE Universe “who the hell does CM Punk think he is, telling everyone he is the best in the world”.  He reminds the fans that he is the Viper Randy Orton-he has taken Punk out before and will do it again.  Punk’s music hits, and the two stand head to head in the ring.  The fans are chanting for both, and out of nowhere another RKO.

As I tried to think of a title for my first column…it came to me.  “Skinny Fat Ass”-What better than the oxymoron Triple H used to describe the self proclaimed “best in the world today” CM Punk…Is saying “ass” even PG?-who cares.
