This Week in Wrestling History (April 12, 1993), WWF Monday Night Raw aired live from Poughkeepsie, New York. In the main event, Friar Ferguson defeated Chris Duffy.
This Week in Wrestling History (April 4, 1993), WWE held its Wrestlemania IX pay per view. In the main event, Yokozuna defeated Bret Hart to win the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Following the match, Yokozuna’s manager issued a challenge to Hulk Hogan, putting the title on the line. Hogan defeated Yokozuna to become a 5-time World Wrestling Federation Champion.
