East Coast Wrestling Association, Voorhees, New Jersey–This week on Brady Hicks’ IN THE ROOM podcast, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s 2010 Rookie of the Year, Adam Cole, was named as the newest member of the ECWA Super 8 tournament, April 30, 2011 in Voorhees, New Jersey.

The young Cole has been a featured performer on the wrestling scene in the US, the UK, and Germany since he made his wrestling debut just a few years ago. He has quickly gained experience in promotions such as CZW, Dragon-Gate USA, and Ring of Honor, among a dozen other companies. Could excelling at Super 8 be just the opportunity that Adam Cole needs to take his promising career to the next level?

“This is a great chance for me, and I’m very excited for it,” commented Cole, prior to recording the show. “I’ve had some great opportunities to compete against some of the top independent talent in the world, and not just here but overseas as well. But I’m really hoping that performing well at Super 8 this year will give me the opportunity to take that next step in my career.”

Adam Cole joins cagey competitors Tommaso Ciampa and Sami Callihan in the 2011 Super 8 tournament this year. As was announced two weeks ago IN THE ROOM, this year’s Super 8 tournament will take place at the Flyers’ Skate Zone in Vorhees, NJ, a move ECWA owner Mike Tartaglia hopes will make it more accessible to ADDITIONAL ECWA fans in New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, while still being being close to Delaware. Either way, it will make this year’s Super 8 tournament more centrally located than ever before.
